Tattoos

I recently heard a friend of mine say that she was thinking about getting a
tattoo, but she didnt know where or of what. I thought how silly it was to even
want one then; to ink something on your body that would be indelible. Then, as
things often do, something changed my mind.

I stumbled upon http://www.contrariwise.org/, a website
about people with tattoos inspired by literature.

Some of my favorites:

From Chbosky's

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

Kerouac's On the Road

Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger

From the poem "Nothing Gold Can Stay" by Robert Frost

These writers did not live forever, but their words will. I suppose that is worth tattooing.
